Because their Fire Phone is tanking

Honestly, if you're going up against the likes of Samsung and Apple, you better know what the f*ck you're doing. Amazon obviously didn't. I mean hell, even Microsoft has a hard time keeping up.

I give them credit for trying to make Amazon Prime look better, but (at least for me) Google does everything Prime Photos does...for free. Maybe not unlimited, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's enough for me. I'm not really convinced to switch.

Maybe they ought to focus on widening their selection of TVs and movies that they stream. Fast, free shipping is really good deal for $99/yr but if you only shop online occasionally, you might want a little more. Personally, I'd ditch Netflix and sign the f*ck up with Prime if they were a worthy c...

Battery Life

A majority of cellphone users are concerned about their battery life while using their phone's features. This update should be very beneficial for Fire OS users, for using features won't drain battery life.

So nice to see a decent review video.

I read about the FirePhone on BGR and was appalled at the lack of effort put in to the article. It seems that site is like an angry teenager that holds grudges.

Thank you so much for being a voice of reason. Having watched your video, I actually don't think its that bad at all! I have tried many phones over the years including iPhone, Android and WP8. Currently settled on a BlackBerry Z30 so very used to swipe interface.

This phone is not enough to make me switch, but it certainly is something different in the cookie cutter world that is smartphones.

Interesting but not for me

I would think that anyone who prefers a Kindle Fire over a more traditional Android tablet would absolutely love this phone.

since I'm being censored by phonescoop

Let's try this another way. What person in their right mind would be so insensitive as to insist that the people clearly being defrauded by Amazon are at fault for the lack of essential security features that Amazon recklessly failed to implement because it resulted in more sales for Amazon?

parests

Parents need to stop being so lazy and stupid, that's the solution to the problem,

Went you handle a device with your purchase information on it to a child you are the responsible or what that child do with your info,

So parents, stop being so lazy and stupid, and lock your info down,

Wow!

If this thing lives up to they hype, I'm impressed. It's not the device for me, but it certainly sets itself apart from the crowd. I can see anyone who owns a Kindle snapping this up. Apple and Samsung should be worried. I think Amazon nailed it with this phone.

Time?

What time does the even start? I can't hardly wait to see what this phone will do. I'm a huge Amazon fan and love all their products. This one will hopefully be a much welcomed addition to all my other Amazon gadgets!
