Charging for 1st time/Roaming question
Howdy all,
How long MUST I charge my Cingular RAZR, for the first time? Also, is there a way to take advantage of both Cingular and AT&T's network without paying extra? Or am I dumb? Don't be shy, haha! Thanks in advance...

Razr with 1-year contract
Anyone know where I can get the razr online with a 1 year contract for a low price? I can currently get it for $249.99 in store through my local cingular store.

moto v505 vs razr
i am a current ATT customer and in this switch i find that i am no longer under contract so i can either migrate to cingular or switch carriers altogether. I currently have the 505 and i hate the way their multiple numbers per name still lists each number seperately for ex john home john cell etc. on the razr does it do the same thing or will the name just show up once like it did on my SE t616? I thought about the sieman s66 butit doesn't do ringer id individually and the SE 710 is way to bulky to consider spending 400+.

Unlocked phone and ATT vx. Cingular
I have an unlocked Razr, and i have put in it my ATT sim card. The people from ATT/Cingular say that this will not work for long since the sim card is 32 bit, and Cingular uses 64 bit sim cards. He says i will start to lose "functionality" eventually
Is this a bunch of crap, or is it for real?

MP3 ringtone / Mobile Action handset manager software
My friend just shows me her RAZR V3 with excellent original quality MP3 ringer, the quality is really excellent, unlike the original PC tool kit. She told me that she used handset manager software (maker:mobile action tech)to exchange the MP3 to her phone and set up as the ringers.
She also told me that the package comes with both software and hardware in one package, and the price is only around $30.
Does anybody know where I can get this software and hardware (maker:mobile action tech) for my Razr V3?

Black Razr has video recording on UK Os network
the black Razr has video recording already loaded on the UK"s O2 network. Some local NYC dealers are selling this unlocked phone. Why wouldn't Cingular offer video recording?

ATT TO CINGULAR, A DANGEROUS SWITCH?
My wife and I have a family plan on ATT with two v600's. We are considering upgrading to the moto v3 because we like the mini usb charging feature(the v600 charge connection seems to be very touchy). I can get two v3's off of myrateplan.com with a two year cingular family contract for $200. It sounds like a good deal but I do not trust phone companies. Is there anything that i should know? Anyone have any stories to tell me about the switch from att to cingular. It looks like the plan is identical, but who knows?

Unlocking A Cingular Razr V3?
If I purchase any Razr V3 from my local Cingular dealer and use a service like... (http://www.motounlocknow.com/motorolav3.htm) to ulock my phone will I still be able to use my existing sim card that came with the phone?

Bluetooth file-browsing on a V3?

I just bought a V3 phone, and it's very nice
and all. I was rather shocked to discover that this thing has no memory expansion capabilities. Considering it can do MP3/MPEG4 playback, I fail to understand why Motorola did not put in
SOME kind of SDRAM slot, but it did with the V710?
But anyway, I digress. I've heard it's possible to upload files to the phone via BT, but what about having the V3 download files from another BT device? Or better yet, have
the phone see the file on the REMOTE device that has more memory?
Anyway, just thought I'd ask.

Question to owners of the RAZR
1. Regarding bluetooth: are there any mac users who have been able to get the RAZR to sync with macs address book? I know it is suppose to work but would love to hear from someone who has tried this.
2. Regarding the address book within the RAZR: does a contact have to be entered into the RAZR three times for instance if I needed to add that individuals HOME, WORK, & MOBILE number like I do currently with my Moto 720? I notice the software appears sadly familiar.
3. Lastly: how is the keypad. Easy to use?

New Video Recording software question...
I was wondering if the video recording software upgrade to this phone thru motox is easy to do to a Cingular phone? I looked at the site and Im quite confused. I really wanted to get this phone but was put off by the lack of video recording capabilities, so if its easy to upgrade then off to get this phone I go. Thanks for any info!
