Motorola RAZR V3

Was out on the Motorola website today and noticed that a headset made specifically for the RAZR V3 is coming out at the end of this year.

is there anyway to import an address book from outlook to this phone?

I am thinking of gettin the Treo 650 when my current contract is up next week. It would be my primary use phone but it would be nice to have another small phone for certain situations where i dont wanna carry the 650. Thinking about the Razr or something like that. Would i have to find a source for an unlocked Razr or can i buy one directly from cingular and just move my sim card from the treo to the Razr when i want to swap phones? Thanks

Is there anyway to know if my phone was from the gray market or bought from the UK?

It's not even here yet and already I'm thinking accessories. Does anyone make a nice leather case/cover for this thing? It'd really like to find something that slips over it to protect from the inevitable drops...

I have an unlocked overseas version of the black v3......I just started having a problem accessing my phonebook. When I try to get into it, it just flashes on the screen real quick and then it's gone. anyone else have this problem ?

can you assign a shortcut to the smart key when the phone is closed? Now when you push it with the phone close it does nothing. When you hold it down, the camera comes on in self portrait mode. I would like to be able to access my address book, scroll through and dial with the phone closed when using my Bluetooth ear piece. I know how to use voice dial, but looking for more.

I am curious to know if there is a menu on the phone that can tell me when the phone was first activated? The auction I bought it from indicated that the phone was only 1 month old, only used a few weeks, and in flawless condition. Its covered in scratches and missing the rubber stop on the lid on the riht side causing it to not close flush. I just am curious to know if there is a way to check to see when the phone really was activated to better know just how old it is. Thanks.

Can the Black V3 withstand Key(s) scratches?
I would like to purchase the Black V3, but I think the Black V3 may show wear earlier. With, or without keys in pocket. What do you think?

hey i have been reading up on the razr for a while now, and have finally decided that i will upgrade my samsung e715 to it (dang i will miss the built in flashlight!). i was just wondering what the packaging was, namely with t-mobile usa. does it come in that metal box, or is that only in the uk. 😕 thanks in advance!

i love this phone but i think there is a problem with the camera. When i take a picture it comes out clear before i store it. but after i click the store button and then view the pictures in the photo library the photo is all blurred. why would it be clear before i hit the store button and fuzzy afterwards. The camera seems to be working ok. Anyone have any ideas or is this just a busted phone??

I've noticed that when recieving a text message with an mp3 ringtone set for the alert, the mp3 "stutters" for half a sec in the middle of the alert. Anyone else experience this?

Any noticible wearage, loose hinges, anything? thanks for any replies.

Just recently got a RAZR (also have a Moto V551, Nokia 6620 and SE S710a). On all the phones I am able to send imap email from my aol account successfully, however I cannot receive anything, except on my Nokia because I use a program called Profimail. On my RAZR, it just keeps saying "synchronizing with server" until I manually disconnect. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

One of my family members got this phone and they were asking me for help on this - could you guys advise me please.

He has a USB cable (i think comes with phone) - I have told him site to d/l ring tones. Now he has the ringtone on his pc, is there a software suite or driver or any other interface he can use to just dump the file onto his phone? he dosen't have a bluetooth dongle to transmit, and we were hoping he'd avoid going online with his phone. Please suggest the best possible suite/application that he can use to just simply transfer the file over usb to his phone.

I've read a few things about the troubling of the razr battery. I've had mine for 3 months now and it has been fine, but the other day when I took it off the charger it said ''charge complete'' but a few minutes later went back to 2 bars. So I charged it for 24 hours straight just to make sure, took it off, and it went back to 1 bar and is blinking. Do I need a new battery? How can I manage my battery life better? Thanks.

The new razr software update the video update do u have to have a Data cable to put it on your phone or do u have to go to a link with your phone let me know thanks

I just signed up with Cingular with a sivler Razr, and notice that the software version on the silver Razr is older than on a friend's black Razr. Is it possible to get a software update? Verizon used to do them for you in their stores.

i just purchased the new black v3. I previously had a v400 and v551, both phones sounded great as far as hearing people talk to me. With the razr, the sound is much more muffled and very flat momotone. Is this how all the razr's are compared to the v551 or is it an issue with my phone? The volume is also not as loud, I've heard of the p2kman software, but I think that would just make the volume louder, not any clearer. I love the phone as I always scratched the v400 & v551 because they stuck out so much, but I use this phone for my business and I'm afraid I'm really gonna struggle hearing people. After calling motorola, they told me it should sound even better than the v400 or v551, it's not even close to them 2 phones as far as clarity.
