LG V VX-9800

I've noticed the 9800 is out of stock on vzw.com. Does this mean the 9900 is coming out soon? Anyone have any info on them. I'm in the market for either a 9800 or if the 9900 will be available. Any info anyone?

This may have been asked, but I couldn't find it. My roommate is getting the 9800. I have the 8100. Does the 9800 play WMA files the same way as the 8100. When a call comes in, will the WMA file be paused and restarted after the call? Does a call still completely stop MP3 files?

I'm with Sprint now, and am considering switching to Verizon. I really like the VX9800 and it's the phone I'd probably get. I know that this phone does not have real internet, but I use MySpace all the time. Has anyone tried loading and using MySpace on this phone? How does it handle it? And how does it handle other real sites like MySpace?

My Sprint A900 (The Blade) will load MySpace. It lets me log in, read comments and messages, it loads profile pages... everything. It just has problems posting comments or sending messages. It gets a strange error... not that I'd like to T9 in my myspace comments anyway... but I might on the VX9800 since it has a keyboard.

ok, i bought the LG VX-9800 and i love it. I recently purchased the music essentials kit and a 256 mini SD card. My problem is that i want to transfer videos to my phone, i can change the file type to whatever i want but i tried to change it to the .3g2 form and windows meadia player doesn't support that... What i want to know is what type of file can go directly on my phone that is compable with windows meadia 10. it is not a dvd it is a home movie that i have made with my friends. also i do not have a card reader on my computer i just have the USB cable that came with the music essentials package. Do i need a different program to transfer the files? Please let me know... Thanks

everything about the LG the V seems great, but do I understand right that with mobile web 2.0 I can't get emails unless the are MSN, Yahoo, AOL type emails? What I want is to pick up my emails when out of the office without all the PDA stuff. I have several emails addresses with different servers. 🤨

Anyone have the yellow-background martini-glass wallpaper image that came with the phone? I tried to move it to a memory card and it was (oddly) deleted in the process, but never showed up on my mini-SD card. Is there someplace I can download it or can someone send it to me? My wife LOVED that image and I'd like to restore it for her.

Ok, so i just got the phone about a week ago and i love it, i haven't had any problems with the mp3 player, it's got awesome sound and the keyboard is awesome deven though it's hard to get used to after being used to t9. anyway, i've been trying to get movies on my phone and i've got the 3gp converter but whenever i try the setting "3GPP+AAC" and QCIF Normal Quality 15fps stereo or mono, i get back an error. i've managed to get a couple files to go through but the sound and the video are a little bit off of each other, is there a way to fix this or is this something that happens often? i read a thread about someone with a similar problem and he was told to change the settings to what i used. any help would be appreciated thanx.

I ran it through the decrypter and the converter but when I play it in quicktime the picture is messed up and is changing colors. What can I do to get it to work right? I just got my phone and haven't got my mini SD card yet so I haven't been able to try and put it on my phone yet.

I have went through 3 9800's, none of them were my fault. 1, screen froze. 2, the speaker was faaling apart. 3, the screen froze again. Fianlly, after a software upgrade for vcast music, I can't save video messages from other vzw phones. A store is willing to exchange it for me, but for what phone?

What do you use the sounds for? I am talking about the option in MY SOUNDS that has the rainforest, train, olde to joy song...etc. What do people use them for? Ringtones?

im debating between the chocolate and the vx 9800 (the v) and i need a lil help. i text alot but i also love listening to music alot. speakerphone isnt rele a big deal to me cuz i prefer bluetooth anyway and most of the time i dont feel like announcing my convo to the world. so i guess my ? is ... which phone is better all around?

I have a 2 gig mini SD card and I can save pics and movies that the phone takes, but I can't throw songs onto the card and I never knew what format the movies had to be in, someone told me they can be in the same extension as the PSP stuff is. Can someone answer some Q's for me here please? Thank you...also, I have a card reader which doesnt work, I went to a friends house to try his, it still didn't recognize anything, someone here has t be the trouble shootin champion so...hook a brotha up!

All I have to say is WOW!!! Pretty Impressive! If you don't know, there is a FREE TRIAL going on till August 24th for the Navigator. I used it over the weekend to get me to a hotel in Washington, DC and it brought me right to the front door! Does anyone know if this is REAL TIME GPS as in will bypass any traffic jams up ahead???? I know some of the GPS systems can do that now.

I am going to get the 9800 this coming week! So I am trying to figure out how to convert movies. I downloaded dvd decrypted that was recommended on the howard forum. I put in national treasure and decrypted it. It created a folder on the c drive named national treasure. There is a folder named video_ts. Inside that folder there is all the files that I should need. Now what do I do from there? I downloaded both super and 3gpconverter. What do I do? I just don't get this part also if I want to watch off the hard drive how do I do that when the movie is broken down into chapters? Please help I want to get this down before I get this phone. Thanks!

Trying to get bitpim to recognize my 9800. In the bitpim settings I chose the phone type as "VX-9800", for the com port selection I chose "COM2"... I have been switching the com's from COM1, COM2, COM3 & COM4 --- On my CPU I have two ports for the USB, I have also been switching the USB cord between the two... Bitpim is still not recognizing my phone. I have read other threads and followed the directions step by step...I have also ignored the fact the when I ask for Bitpim to "detect the phone" it doesnt... I moved past that and have been able to rip the songs from window's media player to bitpim...however, I cannot get the songs from bitpim to my phone... I am attempting this through the option "send data to phone". Are there any other sugg...

After visiting Phone Scoop and hearing how passionate you all are about a PHONE, I couldn't resist to join. So, being now, a true phone afficiando, I have decided to take it to the max. I know have an intimate relationship with my brand new, and very sexy LG 9800. We took things slowly, and like some of you on here, get offended by the rude remarks that speak poorly of some it's features. LG and I talk about a lot of personal things...including her short comings and its tough. But we work through them...even inviting the 8100 over for a late night snack. We laugh at all the attention you all give..after all, the 9800 told me she is just a phone. I tell her NO, and last night, I grabbed her by her short antenna and kissed her screen. I playe...

i have the 8100 right now and im waiting and waiting to see when the v2 vx9900 will be coming out. becasue i really like the design of it... if it doesn't come out before the K1m the (KRZR) i'll probabaly just get that.. but the speakers will probably be worse than the 9800 that they have out right now.. or maybe i'll go with the chocalate when it come out.... idk if anyone anyone! has information or anymore pictures of the new vx 9900 please email them to me...(i've already seen the back part so no pic of that)... thanks! 😁
