Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 / Slider Sonic

Ok i have another question. For some reason my phone will not connect to the web, It keeps giving me error 407 message. Anyone else have this. I called alltel and they cannot figure it out. I hope i dont have to return this phone.

I have mpt and the remix. I have DUN enabled on the phone. the software will not recognize the phone, and I have gone through all the troubleshooting on the kyocera website with no luck. anyone have any ideas on what else to do? I love the phone otherwise and do not want to get rid of it.

Can this phone really take on the new nokia 6255i the phone doesnt even have bluetooth can it really compete with the big dogs out there?

my kx5 power cycles when i push the play button on my phone after i put songs on do i need to group them?

Just got the slider and installed the mobile phone tools on my PC. Hooked up the data cable to the phone and PC. Mobile phone tools says "not connected". Was hoping to remove pics and videos from the phone and install some small ringtones into the phone. I take it this is not possible through the useless data cable they provided or do I need to to get the SD card?

1. I have purchased a 256 mb card. It doesn't matter which order I upload the songs to the phone, they always play in reverse order (song 10 to song 1). How do I fix this.

2. How do I sort music. If I have 10 albums with 10 songs each, I want to group the songs per album. Otherwise I have to sort through 100 songs.

☹️ I just bougth this phone and I have seen reviews with samples of the pictures it takes, but what I get is an horrible picture, I changed the settings but cannot make it work right, does anyone has this problem?

Hey im only 17 so i can't get a phone with a contract yet...so currently i have Virgin Mobile/ pay as u go...this is about my 5th phone...so i want to upgrade to a better one....currently i have the Audiovox Snapper..but the graphics are not clear.....blurry, and the photos it takes suck....they are very blurry..and as u know with virgin mobile u don't have a large variety..so im going to get a better one, i was undecided wether to get the Kyocera Slider Sonic or the Switchback by Kyocera...but now i've decided to get the slider sonic by Kyocera...do any of u guys know if we can change the covers because i've gone to several sites that sell cell phone accesories, and there are face plates for the kyocera slider sonic but i have no i dea if i...

"Got this phone 3 months ago, i did a little research on it and thought it looked like a good buy. The only things that were good about the phone was the clear screen and pictures, and the good service. Some of the bad things were- The mp3 sounds very bad if you listen to it outload. Mine shutdown all the time, if it closed the slider to fast it would shut down also. You cant record things and set them as a ring tone.
You cant download any music onto the phone unless you buy the chip for it. Mine froze a bunch of times also. I just dont think that this was a very good phone".

What formats will this phone take for ringtones?? And does it have video playback if you take a vid and put it on your card?? Thanks..

Can the internet browser on this phone able to go to a WAP address..because my friend has Cellular South and if I can give him the WAP address to my funformobile folder he can get stuff..can anyone help me?? Thanks..

So far I like this phone. I also have the Nokia 6255i. The bluetooth capabilities of the nokia seem to be by far superior, although i haven't been able to really test the remix without the mobile phone tools software. I have tried to download other software but nothing seems to be compatible. Can anyone help me. I could use a copy Of MPT if anyone has it.

I was wondering if anyone has any copmlaints on the track that the phone slides on. Any thoughts/comments would be very much appreciated.

Well, it is possible to set an mp3 as a ringtone and it's easy. The only thing you need to do is to change the .mp3 extensión for the .mid extension and that's it. You can do exactly the same with the Koi, but in that one you must compress the mp3 file so that it won't exceed 500 kb or and error will happen while trynig to save it on your phone if you're using the KPD software. I use Nero Burning Rom to change the extension of the files. I'm almost sure that the same trick can be done with the slider sonic and the soho.

I'm very dissapointed with this phone I bought it about one and a half month and If I had it for two weeks, I think is too much, beacause the alarms keep locking, without any chance to deactivate them. But don't panic,...

I've been waiting for this phone to be released into stores for 2 months now. 😢 I check the website daily. So far only the slider sonic has been released and only for virgin mobile.
I really hope this phone comes to verizon!! This phone is sooo awesome-everything i want in a phone- so please, if anyone has any information on if the slider remix will be sold for verizon please post it here!! THANKS!!

Anyone have any idea what kind of price we are looking at for this phone when (or if) it is released for Verizon?

I just saw the LG VX9800 that was released this week for Verizon, but it is a little expensive. I'll be mad, though, if I wait for the slider remix and it costs almost as much. Thanks!
