Motorola Q

i have a family plan with my parents, im 15 and want a new phone(have had an LG 6100 for 2 years) so now were upgrading, i like the Q, but im wondering if i can add it with my family plan and still have it with the 10 dollars a month dealio...is the internet access still 5 bucks a month?, its me, my mom and dad, we have the 1000 minutes and its around 100 bucks a month because of texting and insurance(broke my first phone and had to pay 300 bucks for a new one) so yeah, will my price be about the same, or do you have to have a "smartphone plan"? 🤨 please email me at tdaz250@msn.com

way back when I originally purchased the Q I saw on the forum someone had found a site with an NES emulator. Searching for the thread, it looks like the site is now changed and it doesn't carry it anymore.

anyone know where to find it?

Can anyone here offer advice on whether you would choose the Q over a BB 7250? My wife's employer is going to set her up with a phone/pda so she can get email, etc. She had this in the past, at a different position within her company. Because of that we own a 7250 outright, although not activated at this time. The company is talking of getting her a phone for her new position. She would have to pay $75-$100 for the hardware - they are talking about the Q - but the company would cover the service fees. I have suggested she just have them re-activate the BB. She is not a "power user", but does need to open email attachments - usually pdf's, .doc's, or excel spreadsheets, send/recieve email, and access her outlook calendar. The BB was f...

Has anyone experienced the error, "unable to place call" when trying to access the web? This happens semi-frequently to me and I have to powercycle the device in order to get it to work.

Hello All, Im thinking about getting the Q and i really want it for remembering meetings,appointments ETC.. Does the phone do that? can i schedule it to alert me say an hour before a meeting or appointment? thanks All!!!

Anyone else having issues playing purchased music on your Q? Lately I have bought a few songs on-line and when i try to play them, the phone wont because it says i don't have the license. I have other purchased music on my phone, just not sure why its giving me a problem now. Is there an update out there for this. Thanks for info.

Anyone know how to fax from your PC using the Q as the phone/modem? Trying to get Winfax 10.04 to fax, but not having any luck. The program sees the phone as the modem, but the phone doesn't dial.

hey there... when i loaded the DST update for my Q, it told me i needed to update the wireless sync client too - so i did, and now my phone tells me it can't find the sync client, and the icon changed from the Sync logo to a generic windows icon... ideas? fixes?

Don't know if others have seen this, but I noticed they're having an expert event on the Motorola-sponsored Q support forum site next week (10/2 - 10/6) on streaming live TV to your Q using a Slingbox. If it's like the last expert event, there will be a link in the forum news box at the bottom of their home page that takes you to the event, where you can ask questions about the Q and Slingbox. Does any one know an easier method for sending pictures to another cell phone than sending them as an email? This is the Sprint Q.

there is an update for the Sprint moto Q, go and check it out, i do not know what does it fixes but I'll give it a try, maybe it will fix "unable to make a call" thing.

it is available from either Sprint Poewrdeck link from the explorer on the Q or the Motorola support web site for the Q.

i just got my mini usb to headphone adapter and i can not get it to work. i am not sure if i have a defective piece or if there is something that i need to change in settings somewhere. thanks

Does anyone know how to add i-tunes to the Q (for Sprint) Some one told me that it could be done, but I don't know if I really believe them.

When I use voice activation to send an email, it always uses outlook. Does anyone know a way to get it to use another email account? I have gmail set up and it works fine, but I'd like to be able to voice activate the sending, rather then have to scroll through my phonebook.

What should I do, I want a PDA smart phone, but I only have 2 more days to decide because my 30-day grace period is almost up. I love my Sanyo M1, but would rather have a PDA phone with a keyboard. and i also like listening to music while doing other things like texting, web browsing, etc... I have Sprint FYI 🙂 .
