Motorola Q

is anyone interested in a silver q for verizon? i have the gently used q with original battery, 2 extended batteries (1 new, 1 used), original software, usb data cable, original charger, and a new belt clip. all of it is in perfect working order. i may even through in a brand new jabra bluetooth headset if the price is right. any offers?

Just wanted to know why Verizon will allow you to stream video if you pay for their V Cast, and will terminate your existing number if you use a third party like Slingbox.

my Q beeps every few minutes and i dont know what it beeps for? or how to shut it off? I want to shut it off? Also it the screen lights up every few minutes as well how come??? can i shut that off?

on the web site it says it is coming soon, and when I check from my Q it said it will be available on April.

what is the rate per minute for checking websites if you don't have the data plan? i would like to be able to look at my e-mail (on outlook web access) maybe once in a while every day, but i don't want to pay the 24.99 a month. is this possible, and slightly cheaper than the monthly rate? thanks!

Hey I just bought the Q, but i use a mac at home... am i gonna be able to use the phone to its fullest since I am not running on a PC? ☹️

Yesterday I performed a Registry edit as follows:


The following 2 hacks increase system performance and makes the Q more responsive:

Ӣ Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\
Changed limit from 16384 to 32768

Ӣ Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATF S
Changed - CacheSize to 4096

After doing this I lost access to my Storage Card. It's in there but no longer accesible or even recognized in File Manager. I also installed TCPMP but I don't think that would change anything. I used the trial version of IBE Registry Editor. I'm so mad as it's a 4GB card that's been working flawlessly with tons of data on it. Does anyone have a good program that will play super nintendo roms on my Q? I have pocketnester for my NES roms that works really well, but I have a desire to step up the game play. I know some emulators exist but keep finding dead links. Any information would be appreciated!

Hi! I am considering a Q, but like many users, I feel the $44.95 price tag is a bit steep. I was wondering... I currently have a text/pix/flix package, and would like to know, if you purchase a Q and get the unlimited data plan, are text, pix and flix messages included, or do you have to have a separate plan for that?

Okay so I am looking into buying either the Moto Q or the BlackBerry 8703e and I need a little help.

I am a first time PDA user and I am completely lost on which phone would be best for me.

I need something durable. I text A LOT. I also love using BlueTooth! I like both of these phones but cannot decide which would be better.

How can I connect my motorola q to my computer at home through VPN? In the connections menu and under VPN, there is VPN type, Server, Domain, and IPSec Pre-Shared key, all which I am not familiar about. I heard that motorola q users can access a computer setup for the device to get files off the computer, I want to be able to do that.
