I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!

I currently have Nextel as my carrier but since the merger I am thinking of going back to Sprint. Before the service in my area was no that great (Baldwin Park, Ca) that was about 3 years ago. How is the service? Have there been any good changes to the service? Well if I do go back I have my eye on the Treo 650 Palmone that phone looks awesome. Can anyone tell me what they think of this phone what matters to me the most is reception and clear calls does Treo 650 offer that or is just a good looking phone. Thanks for the help!

Have you tried Orb yet???

I am not sure if this was discussed yet but there is a website http://orb.com/ that allows you to view video & photos and listen to music & watch videos from your PC to almost any mobile device. It will also allow you to watch live TV if your computer has a TV tuner.

I have the 7400 so it doesnt work put I tried it on a PPC and it works great. Also, you can access your files from any other computer so if you can't access them from your mobile device, you can access it via the web via your computer.

It's like a multimedia PC Anywhere but you don't have to download anything to your device. It's web based. You only have to download a program to your PC and leave it running. Pretty cool.

with the merger finally complete.......

What's in store for us Sprint customer? Are we going to be able to use the walkie talkie feature on our phones for free? Are prices on the rate plans going to sky rocket? Sprint Nextel insiders what' the deal?

sprint in europe?

I have A question, i was just wondering, if i were to go to europe for some reason, would my sprint phone work there? I've heard that europe uses a differnt network, one that is even better then ours here in the united states? how is that possible? i thought we would be the ones except for japan or china that would have the better service?!

Customer service, or lack thereof...........

I was just curious as to how many people have had horrible experiences with Sprint's customer service. I have only had Sprint service for 10 months and I dread having to call into CC because I know that I will have to call multiple times in order to check the status of my account to see if what I had changed or checked into was correct. I work for another carrier in their customer service department and if I had talked to my customers the way that I have been talked to, I would have been fired long ago. Thanks!

Sprint Affiliate Sues to Stop Merger

A fourth Sprint affiliate, Gulf Coast Wireless, is suing the company in an attempt to stop the planned merger with Nextel. Gulf Coast contends that the Sprint Nextel merger violates its contract with Sprint because Sprint would control the competing Nextel brand. Two other affiliates, Ubiqui Tel and iPCS, have also sued Sprint. US Unwired sued then settled with Sprint for $1.3 billion, part of which resolved the legal challenges. All four affiliates market and resell Sprint's services in various regions. (Source: Reuters)

F&F Vs. Rollover

let's take a look at which is better and ya'll will have to decide.

Please remember that these are just examples and not actual plans, prices, or exact usage.
these are just examples.

let's just say that we have 2 customer's both with the exact same plan:minutes and price.
the plan will be 1000 minutes for 50.00.

customer 1 cingular uses 500 minutes a month for 3 months. banks 1500 minutes

customer 2 sprint also uses the same amount for 3 months. no bank. doesn't have rollover

month 4 both customers go over their plans by 1000 minutes because of a death in the family.

customer 1 cingular has 1500 banked minutes. no extra charge on bill.

customer 2 sprint has fair & flexible. has to pay extra $5.00 per 100 minutes(corr...

Free and Clear America

Has Sprint decided to remove the "Free and Clear America" feature that could be added to plans for $5 which would allow one to roam without incurring a per minute charge.

I also do not see the "Free and Clear 100" (I think that is what it was called) that would allow one to pay $10 for 100 roaming minutes.

Originally it was my understanding that only "corporate" areas could offer this - however - now that I see that "corporate" areas in my area appear to no longer offer it as well.

Any information regarding this would be most appreciated.

question about adding a line

my brother has a sprint plan and has room for 1 more phone to add on. He has a sprint pcs 2 year agreement until 2007 and is on a free and clear plan.

If i port my number to sprint, can i only get a 1 year agreement on my line? I dont want to be stuck for 2 years with the same phone.

Thanks
