Does anyone know approximately how many IPhones will be at each AT&T store. Is it something that will sell out in minutes or days?

Have been reading some reviews on the IPhone and just had a question. If I have a pop3 email account will I be able to obtain my new emails from the device or would I actually have to connect it to a pc to sync it?

I sure can't wait to browse the full internet on a real web browser with the super fast speeds of a dial up modem.

Watching youtube videos should really be cool, after the 15min wait for them to download.

At least Google Maps comes pre-installed. By the time the map updates to my location, I'll have already passed it going 25mph.


Thank god they don't offer itunes music downloads, or do they? I mean, don't we all want to wait 5 to 20 mins for one song to download? By the time it's finished downloading I could have driven home, synced the song, and drove back to work.

will i be able to purchase the phone with out extending my contract and just adding the data plan with unlimited text?? or do i have to agree to a 2 year extension on my contract?

Since the iphone can be activated at home via iTunes, is there any reason that the person planning to activate the phone needs to be there in person?

Will all of the VZW and Sprint homers please go chat about one of your companies devices instead of spending hours trying to convince yourselves that not getting the iPhone and Curve are good for VZW and Sprint!? Some people actually want to discuss the phone and are excited about it and would like to hear some of the info about it.

Thats all this bashing is, nothing more than jealousy and some psychological malfunction which you are trying to use to convince yourselves that AT&T hasn't hit a home run with their devices lately.

To sum up: if you are going to bash the iPhone and say VZW is one of God's greater creations, do it one a VZW phones forums.

So being that phones tend to have issues far before the 2 yr agreement is up i was wondering what is the warranty going to be like? Rumor has it only 3 months? What happens if in 6 months the lcd goes blank or the touch sensors start to go like many other models? Is At&t going to provide customer support in the stores? Would i have to send the phone all the way back to apple and wait for it to be refurbished? To me these are much more important questions then What features does it not have.

I can't believe that nobody has put it out there yet.
Wouldn't it be logical to have the keyboard turn sideways like everything else on this phone? It would provide more space for larger keys and a better display ratio, as well as being more evenly ballanced. I E faster typing, or entry method, witch seems to be the overall goal here. No?
Or maby it's my fat thums talking.

Just looked that features and it is missing two must haves for me. The ability to record video and voice dialing as I always dial by just saying a name into mu blue tooth. Am I correct that iphone is not able to do either of these?

A friend of mine called Radio Shack before learning where you can get an iphone on friday. The sales person told him that they will only be at AT&T stores not apple stores 🙄 on friday and they only will have 2-4 per store to sell and that was it for at least a month.

do you think the iphone will be hard to find lets say next week at the apple store or a at&t store?? and does anyone have any information on the data plans the iphone requires because im thinking about switching from a blackberry pearl to the iphone

so if I get an iphone and next year a better version comes out and I want to upgrade to it. Can I simply go to AT&T and buy the new one and then sell the old one on EBAY as used as I have done at least 10 times before? Thanks in advance. 😁

Rip my heart out Steve Jobs. Jobs makes the iPhone 99% amazing and leaves out 3G because of "battery life" and "not enough room" to put the 3G antenna, yet moto just put it in the new razer w/ HSDPA 3.6. It just blows my mind how something so far advanced in technology which has all the latest bells and whistles and it doesn't come with UTMS/HSDPA. I know a lot of people don't have 3G yet but 3G can always fall back to the EDGE network just as easy. What a waste!

Just so disgusting to think i have to wait 2 yrs for version 2 of the iPhone or get a Euro version and see if it will work in the States.

I hope everyone buys and iPhone and then every complains how slow the internet is on EDGE, that will make my day.
