I need unlock my Samsung X427

I Have a Samsung X427, on star this say "Phone locked return for servicing". Question? this movil will unlock by IMEI?

I got fed up w/ATT and was stupid enough to let them know I was switching companies. Now they won't unlock my phone, and I want to use it on T-Mobile. Any ideas?

Uploaded ringtones are distorted

Hey everyone,

I have a Samsung x427, and I just got a data cable and the software to upload ringtones, and I was wondering if anyone here has had a problem with the ringtones becoming extremely distorted once they're in the phone. They sound fine after I've converted them to .mmfs - but when I upload them, the sound is absolutely terrible. I've played with the volume settings when creating the files, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas on why this is happening?

Also, does anyone know a way to delete old ringtones, or ringtones that came with the phone?

Where can you buy a new model SGH-X426 phone

My phone is broken, and I am being told they no longer make this model. Does anyone know where I can purchase a new phone?

checking voice messages

I inadvertently changed my settings so I can no longer check voice messages. Originally, pressing 1 would shortcut to checking voice messages, but now this shortcut activates a speed dial to 411.

How can I change this back to checking voice mail when the number 1 key is momentarily pressed?

downloading games

I just got an x-427 and am trying to download tetris. whenever I get to the download screen however it won't go any further and does not display the "communicating" graphic. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

Puk:PLZ help me!!!!!!

When i turn my phone on it would say that puk code. I put a code and it work but now it says:
Puk disabled
card bock
So what should i do?

Copy Phonebook from SIM Card

I'm looking the way to copy all my phonebook from the sim card to the phone, but I don't find the way. I look the way to copy the contacts one by one, but I don't want to do this way, I really want to copy all the contacts.

Anyone know how can I do this?

Changing to t-mobile

I have a Samsung SGH-X426 from att. And it got lock so i'm going to change to t-moible. A man in a store said that he would unlock the phone and put a t-mobile sim card instead of a att sim card. WOuld it work? ANd where can you go buy ringtones at? T-mobile or att becuase the phone is att and the sim card is t-moilbe? And he was goin gto charge me 60 dollars! is that a lot and how do people unlock phones? 😳

Voicemail Password

I'm trying to preprogram my voicemail password into the voicemail number in this Samsung, (Menu 1, 9, 2) and I'm trying to add a pause (*), the password, then pound.. it's saying "Wrong number". Funny enough thats how it's documented to be done on the ATTWS internal website... Anyone else figure out how?

Phone makes me dial area code first

Whenever i'm trying to dial a number even my house number i'm having to put in the area code in order to get my phone to dial it...This makes no sense as to why I would have to do this...Anyone have any ideas please respond Thanks.
