I've had my VX7000 for 3 months. I bought it via the Verizon website and activated it per the instructions sent. ALl in all, I love the phone.

Call me crazy, but when I first activated the phone, the display on the internal and external LCDs was different than now. The difference happened when I updated my roaming list via *228.

In addition to the banner that everyone complains about, (Which I never did before), the phone used to have a "vibrate mode" icon display on the external LCD when the phone was in vibrate mode. Now, the indicator only appears on the internal display.

Has anyone else experience this? Not a big deal to be sure, but I'm confused. I thought *228 only updated roaming lists. The phone acts like somethin...

Hi is there a software upgrade for this phone since it first came out that fixes the problem of where when you answer the phone it takes a couple of seconds before the phone call kicks in?

Can anyone tell me what all you can do with WAP and what exactly it is? Do you have to pay for it or can you get it free? Thanks. Chad

I'm looking for advice / suggestions on car kits for the LG 7000 phone. My wife has 1 hour commute and is tired of holding her phone in traffic.

What she wants is minimal wires, clear receipt and transmission. The car is a Lexus RX300.

Can anyone make suggestions or can you share your experience with such devices. I see models that just plug into cig plugs and then models that are trunk mounted and professionally installed. What's the scoop? --tim

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to transfer pre-loaded ringtones from one phone to another using datapilot? I have the LG VX3200, 6100 and the 7000. Or is there any other way to do this if it is possible? Thanks

Hello, this is my first post here. I just got the VX7000 and I'n not really getting the good reception my wife is getting with her VX4500. She constantly has at least 4 bars wherever she goes while I will barely get 3 bars at most. I've been looking at different sites selling antenna booster stickers and replacement extendable antennae. I was wondering do any of these things actually work, and if so which should I get?

By the way, does anyone have any suggestions as to a nice case (not similar to the holster that came with the phone) for this phone that has a swivel belt clip or possibly a horizontal pouch?

my old verizon phone showed "D" for digital almost all the time. My VX7000 always shows "1X" at the top instead. Is it just me?

I have a question about the price of the 7000. I know that the VX-8000 is coming soon (possibly this month but for sure by the end of Feb., or so they say). Does anyone know if the price of the 7000 will drop when the 8000 is released, and if so, by how much? My T-Mobile contract is up on 1/23 and I would really like to switch to Verizon. I started looking at the 7000 back around xmas when Verizon was running a promo where if you bought 1 7000 you got up to 3 more FREE! Great deal and I was gonna jump on it at that time but my contract doesnt end until 1/23. I figured that Verizon would probably be running a similar promo this month so I put off the purchase. Now I want to kick myself because they are offering the 3200 instead of the 7000 as...

I was wondering for the rest of guys who have the phone experience hissing when the sound is done playing?

I find a New York store sells a data tool for VX7000, and this data tool is really surprised me!The picture editior, animation composer, audio composer and ringtone composer are very nice, and it only cost me US$ 39,the model number is MA8022 but I do not know the official product name though. Nice package + reasonable price really make me more happy about my VX7000. Now I can change ringers, wallpapers, and do a lot of stuff whenever I like or want.Don't miss this nice data tool if you are a owner of VX7000 too.

How many of you have purchased your phone from Verizon's website, and if you had any problems in doing so? I'm debating as to whether I want to go for the LG VX7000 now, or wait for the 8000 to come out. I just recently saw that Consumer Reports named the LG VX7000 as the best cell phone buy for Verizon Wireless.

My question is I know how to put ringtones and how to back them up, how to do wallpapper, and pic. now what I don't know is how do I do the following, (a) how do I copy my phonebook to bitpim? and then How can I add stuff to my phone book in bitpim, and vice or verser
