Does anyone know if there are faceplates or if there will be any faceplates for this phone.

I just recieved my phone in the mail today. I like it, conisdering my last phone was the LG 5350, which sucked. Anyways, I was browsing my phone and I noticed that there are no pre-set games??? Does anyone have this problem? Should I return it for one that has games?

Talking on the phone for over 15 minutes, I noticed the keypad (not lip up of course) was uncomfortably warm on my face...to the point I had to use my speakerphone.

Had the 6100 for 3 days, like it, so far good results. Not as annoyed as others by the 'volume bug'.

Am annoyed by this -- I use my cell phone as a watch. When talking both sides of the phone show a timer not a clock. Any way to change and have a clock show while talking?

Can't find a Mobile Office anywhere, had one for VX10, cable won't fit. Called verizon twice - once they said they had them but can get a VX7000 kit at a store and it works. Couldn't find one, called back, then they said they had nothing. But they said they had them online and if I ordered there would get it in 2-5 days.

Anyone actually gotten one? I did order one, guess I will find out next week.

LetsTalk.com lists accessories for the LG VX 6100, and I ordered a car charger.

Every photo I've seen of car chargers for the 6100 including on Verizon's site shows the wide flat connector that fits into the bottom. Same type connector was shown on the LetsTalk.com site, saying fits VX 3200, 7000, "and" the 6100.

What just arrived is a car charge with a skinny round connector, not the wide flat one.

The box info says fits VX 3200, Audiovox 8900, 9900, various Kyocera etc.

Is this the totally wrong charger?

I checked my owners manual and all the stuff Verizon sent with the phone to see if any of the rubber plugged connection points at the top near the antenna might be an alternate charger jack, NOTHING in print clarifies what ...

I know this is getting old but there is something weird happening. I took back and exchanged my phone (6100) because of volume spikes and dropped calls. Well this started happening after i did the #228. The difference is when the phone is new it does not have the banner even after they program it. Now they gave me a new phone and it has the banner and again i have phone spikes and dropped calls. So. What is happening? are they recirculating phones we return or well what do u think is going on.? The phone works better without the banner for some strange reason......agree/disagree

I updated my PRL today and the ERI banner is now active on my 6100. Apparently, the OTA system finally has the right PRL associated with this phone, it's now pulling 50203 instead of 50202 which was for non-ERI capable phones. So, now those that like the banner can be happy and those that don't can complain about it!

Does anyone know how to get rid of this banner on the display?
If you don't already have it on there you will if you update your phone by using #228.....

i am not feeling fully satisified with the 6100. i have had it longer than the 15 days that verizon gives for the return policy. do think there is any chance that i could exchange it for a different phone?

This might sound like a ridiculous question, but something i need to know before I buy this phone. The external screen on my vx4400 flashes in like a rainbow of ugly colors when called or calling someone. Can someone tell me if the 6100 has this same ugly feature? I'm tired of looking like a retarded clown when im called.

Anyone find a laptop-compatible cable for this phone yet? And if so, what kind of software is out there for sync-ing such a cable to Outlook and to picture downloads and uploads? Thanks for any help you can provide.

In the past two weeks, I've learned to like this phone a lot, but I'm unsure about build quality. The first phone was replaced because the speaker was shrill - the replacement is better. But now the top (which has to be open to dial, important in Driving Mode), is starting to close on its own. Has anyone else had this problem, or does this phone need to be replaced, too?

Has anyone had any difficulty with Auto Retry; I presume it was for busy signals (and maybe did not answers), but it does not seem to work. Is this a defect in the phone, or have I failed to discern the secret handshake from the less than helpful manual. Thanks.

could someone please explain the different options in the force mode category i have know clue what they mean but would like to try switching them to see if i get better service i just dont wanna mess anything up thanks in advance guys!!!!

I've had the 6100 for 9 days, and still am uncertain about it. I have had only one dropped call, and a few with so-so reception. The phone is aesthetically quite fun - neat display, easy menu, Driving Mode is very handy. But the voice dialing is weird. Sometimes it's right-on, sometimes, totally misses the cues. (I went through the voice training on the phone...it would make sense to try it again, but there is no provision for re-doing it.) Like some other writers, I really want to like this phone, but the comments on PhoneScoop are off-putting. The "volume bug" does not seem to have visited my copy, but maybe because I use it mostly in Driving Mode. The speakerphone also seems inconsistent: sometimes I can hear people well enough, s...

Has anybody else noticed that this phone has an unusually LOW radiation number:
"Meets FCC SAR limit. Manufacturer's highest FCC reported SAR 0.96 at ear, 0.60 on body. Actual SAR may vary."

The quote is from Verizon. I have not seen another phone under 1.00 for either category. I guess that is another reason to like this phone...unless I am missing something
