Motorola RAZR V3

Is it possible to access the internet for free in a wi-fi hot spot with this phone?

Hi, now I know that T-mobile's V3 Razr offers only a few seconds of video capture at a time, for some reason mine only goes for like 5 seconds. HOWEVER, I believe there might be internal settings that removes that limit. Apparently with the Cingular one (the black one I think, or a modded silver one), you can edit the MMS options to set limit size to 0, which allows you to shoot to the full extent of the memory available. Now the thing is, I couldn't find the similar settings on T-Mobile's version. I've looked everywhere to see if anyone knows how to extend it. If anyone knows how to do this PLEASE TELL ME! It's really bugging me now..dammit.

am trying to decide waht phone I should upgrade to from T-Mobile. The Razr v3 or the Samsung p735. They both seem like great phones and I just cant decide. I am afraid of Motorolas because of my v300 expirence. **shudders** But I can get Bluetooth, and Speaker phone, both of which the p735 dont offer. But the p735 has megapixal camera, over an hour of video, and MP3 player, that I will not use tho. I also seem to be a bit worried cuz I have big hands and big fingers, and I am not sure how I will do with the Razr. Someone plez help me.....thanks so much

I an trying to hook up my new black razor V3 via the USB cable.

When I plug the phone into the cable - instead of windows recogonizing new hardware - it charges the phone's battery.

I am trying to use the same cable from my old V220 (A piece of crap might I add). The V220's cable and the V3's cable should be compatable, right?

I have the driver & was hoping windows would automactically recognize the new phone so that I could just choose the driver's location, but that did not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

does ne 1 know of any free software that can cut out part of a song to transfer to my phone through bluetooth?

Im currently a T-Mobile user but I was going to change to Cingular this next month. Of course that means NEW PHONE. I really liked the RAZR V3 but my brother said the durability wasnt good at all. I wanted to know if it doesnt break ezly or stuff. Please. Thanks.

Sorry for noob like questions but I'm trying to learn about the benefits of this stuff. If I purchase a either a Cingular version or an Unlocked version via the web do I need to both...

ReFlash and/oe Flex Files for the phone? And would you recommend doing that immediately after getting it? MotoX.us seems to have a bunch of mods and I really don't understand how they will benefit me. 😕

Just got a black Razr, am trying to use wallpapers I made. I can transfer them to the phone just fine(using mobile phonetools 3) but some of them wont open. All are at 176x220 and have varying file sizes. However, I sometimes get the following message. "cant open, file too large" even though I have larger files that open just fine. anyone have any ideas?

Can i use bluetooth for transfering files like ringers and screensavers along with editing or hacking the phone like deleting preloaded ringers and things of that nature.??

Or Will i need a direct connection with a usb cable

GOOD NEWS: T-Mobile got the phone shipped to me in 2 days!! They told me 2 weeks.

BAD NEWS: I did not know that the accessories were NOT compatible with other Motorola phones. I now have to buy a new car charger, and new bluetooth headset. VERY frustrated at myself for not realizing that. 🤭

I am considering buying this phone from T-Mobile, but I have some questions first. I am an Ex- v300 user, and I HATED my v300. It lagged so much and just was really slow. It had a major delay problem. Anyways, I want to know if the Razr has any sort of problem like that? Is lagging an issue? And is there any sort of light on the outside? And if any one has the T-Mobile Razr, what is on the outside of the screen when the flip is open? (i.e. the Cingular has the little Cingular dude...)

I purchase a package called "handset manager" from Fry's electronics store, I am so much surprise about the features! It's easy to use, and I can edit my own ringer, or upload MP3 music to set up as ringtone! I can also manage my numbers from the computer in an easy way! You don't want to miss it if you're also a Razr user!

right now i can only use the phone as a modem, but i don't need that.
