Motorola V360 / V361

I got my v360 three weeks ago and everything works great ( way to go moto ) no more flexing, flashing and seem editing. This is the best moto I have ever had and beleive me I have had a lot of them. I highly recommend this phone.

Has anyone noticed that when using the analog clock on the outside display it is not entirely accurate. It seems to move at two minute intervals.
Is there any fix for this other than using the digital function?

does anyone have this phone unlocked on cingular's network? i am really thinking of getting this phone, but i am concerned that it is only 850 band and not 850 and 900. how is the reception and signal strength?

What type of memory is the expandable memory? and Up to how much? Thanks

Ok, so I have a Moto V300 and I have 3 months until I get to upgrade. I really want the Moto V360... If any of you have it, please email me at thecheebs@comcast.net and tell me how well you like it and the good/bad things you've found out about it that may not be advertised...

how do the two compare? i've had the z520 for a week and am enjoying it so far.

i picked my today for $50+tax with one year contract, haven't really played with it yet but it looks nice.

poster on howardforums board(credit goes to AlexTheMan) posted that amazon.com has rebate going on v360 right now that will result in $0 after rebate for the phone. What you need to do is this

1)go to www.amazon.com
2)search for v360
3)select v360 first item
4)select plan $39 or higher, note new plans are not yet available on amazon
5)here is the link to the rebate(look at the bottom of the page for it) link

note:phone must be purchased by 11/16/05

Does anyone know if the phone does more than 30 seconds of video with the card installed? If so, which card? 64? 256? 512? Will the phone read the 512?

I went to my local t-mobile store and asked the girl working there if they had them in the back. She said yes; and brought me one so I could see it. The phone is very nice. The blue is not that bad, I actually like it more in blue, than in the color shown here in phonescoop. I liked the fact that it has the same RAZR charger. Big PLUS right there. I'm going to take my bf tomorrow and upgrade his phone. (By the way, they said it'd be out tomorrow, not the 1st) Anyway, I liked the phone. The speaker phone is not in the same spot of the V551/V330; it's more like towards the bottom of the phone -more like on the battery cover of the v330. The battery is different of that of the V330 too; it's kinda black, and the batery cover it's taken apart in...

there is rumor going on this phone will be out on 10/14

offical rumomr was wrong on the 10/14. Actual date is 10/31. It will cost 199 and no information on rebate at this time. v330 will be discontinued.

But you can't buy it from the Motorola website yet, and it hasn't even appeared on the T-Mobile site. At least now we're sure it hasn't been cancelled, and that it's not going to wait until next year.

So we guessed T-Mobile was waiting for EDGE to be released. That's happened, but no V360. Nokia 6101, but no V360. No PEBL, either. Starting to think neither phone is coming. Anyone else hear anything new?

On paper they look nearly identical except for the hidden antenna and the smaller weight. Any other reason to consider this phone instead ?

it will come out either late October or Ealry November. It will be for T-Mobile.

some people are saying it will come out on the 14th of this month and some saying it maybe the 24of this month. Either way it seems it will come out this month or at worse begining of nov. Also couple of days ago someone posted that news from t-mobile will be released on 21. Just hold on we will see this phone soon.

This phone is great, its pictures are more crisp, and the ringtones sound great, you can really, hear them, the phone has a self-portrait mirror on the front, and it has a black and white external screen, the internal screen is a beauty, it is bigger than some motorola screens, but it is a nice addition to the motorola family.

What charging port will this phone have? V220/V180 like, RAZR like, or V551 like?

Is this puppy ready to come out or what?
This quarter is almost over, and according to phonescoop it's going to be out on the 3rd quarter. Anyone heard anything on the release date? My Bf reeeeeeally needs to upgrade his phone; and so far this is the best (moto) phone I see coming in the near future.
