A900 LCD Issue
Hey guys,
I work at a cell phone store selling Sprint. I have been selling Blades pretty easily, and I like the phone. But the other day a customer came in and brought her Blade back, complaining of an issue where if somebody calls, their picture ID on the Sub LCD will be broken and choppy. I exchanged it for her, no problem.
Well, my gf just got the phone today, and she just set my picture as my pic ID. It did the same thing. I'm gonna have to exchange it for her, but I am just curious if anybody else noticed this.

Overall I'm happy with my phone, but the battery life leaves a lot to be desired. Does anyone know when an Extended Battery and Holster will become available for the A900?

Is it all what it's talked up to be?
I went to pay my Sprint bill yesterday and decided to play around on the A900. OHH, HOW I LOVED IT! It's like the most perfect phone ever created, in my opinion. And I really want it, but I want to know if it's worth it, because if I do get it, I'll have to extend my contract with Sprint, so I want to make sure I'll love this phone. I loved my current phone (A680) AT FIRST, but then I got bored. So let me know. My favorite part about the A900 was the camera; it's AMAZING 😳 !

Making Mps Ringtones....?
Is there a way we can do this, a friend of mine has the samsung t809 and if you change the format of the mp3 to .3gp before you transfer it, the phone will recognize it as a ringer....i tried this on my phone and the phone started restarting..

sending email2sms messages from PC to the phone
I am sending email2sms messages from PC to the phone's email address.
Some phones are better than others when they display those kind of messages.
I would prefer to see email subject when I look at the list of those messages on my phone. I have it displayed like that in the last Nokia I had.
I tryied some other phones and they show "from email address" in the title of the message.
If you sending several diffferent messages from the same email account they appear to have the same title (from email address) when you look at the list of them. It is hard to figure out which is which. They all look the same until you open it.
Does anyone knows how this phone displays email2sms messages?

laptop can't see a900
i hooked my new a900 up to my laptop via usb cable so i can load some songs on it. it won't see it. i installed a driver but still won't see it.

Best way to make MP3's into ring tones
Follow these steps and you should have no probs.
1.) Make a copy of the song you want to use
2.) Open the copy in iTunes and right click the song and go to "Get Info". Under the Options tab change the start and stop time to whatever 30 seconds of the song you actually want to hear.
3.) Now again right click the song and select "Convert to AAC". Once conversion is done, save the AAC file as a name and in a place that will be easy to find. (I made a folder on my desktop named "ringers")
4.) Go to http://funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/upload Ringtone.php?nofile=1 and put in your phone number with area code, select Sprint and then browse for the AAC file and then click "Send to Phone".
5.) With in a few seconds after the file is fi...

Tranfering music to A900 phone
Alright so just bought an A900 and i am going through finding out all the features. One thing i can't figure out how to do is play mp3s on the phone. I refered to a different thread posted by pepsijunky and how he deleted the db file in the MEDIA folder. I did that and i still am not able to play music. The media player won't recognize mp3s put on the phone. Any guidance would be appreciated

Problems using PictBridge
I was wondering if anyone was having problems printing pictures using PictBridge. Whenever I go to where it says "pictbridge print" it will just kick me out and go back to camera mode. Its happening with my fiances a900 as well so it cant be an isolated problem. Hopefully someone here can tell me Im doing something wrong. Thank you.

I've had my a900 a week after it was released, and since then I've had some issues with it. For one when I receive text messages, it doesn’t show the persons name if I have it stored in my phonebook, but sometimes it does.
Example, when i get a message from Joe Smo it shows Joe Smo’s name, but when I get one from my wife it shows her cell number and not a name. So half the time I need to hit SEND to dial the number to show who it's from with out going through my phonebook to find it.
Second, when I select a picture for a contact to show up on either screen (outside/inside) either it doesn’t work and shows half black half static, or it shows the wrong picture, or it shows no picture at all. But, then again, sometimes it works. I'd say ...

Is there a way to play MP3's without going through the Sprint Music Store on the phone?
I can't find a way and if there is not, this raises some issues:
-If you don't subscribe to EVDO Vision, are you charged for Vision usage?
-If you are roaming and can't connect to Vision, how do you listen to music?
