...I said I'm really not impressed by this phone anymore? I feel like I'm over it...

Anyone else feel like this?

My wife just upgraded to the V3m on Verizon, and I was sort of excited because it was a new toy to play with...yeah, didn't last long.

They market it as a music phone, but only if you buy optional accessories like an SD-micro card ($100 for 1GB), a USB cable and 2.5mm headphones. Out of the box, you can't even get ringtones to it without having to "trick" it (you have to rename an .mp3 to a .mid or .qcp, then send it as a piture mail to yourself. Has to be less than 325 Kb and it has to be the third Teusday of the month at exactly 3:23 pm.)

I knew Verizon crippled the bluetooth for file transfers, but I thought you could still PIM sync...nope. I couldn't help but laugh at my wife as she manually transferred all her numbers to her ne...

Back in august I bought the LG cu500, and I didn't like it all. Sony ericsson has always been my favorite cellphone brand, and i was so excited to see this phone was out!! I ordered it right away, and i should be here early next week, I'm so excited to have a 2 mp. camera on my cell phone!!

I do have some questions, What accessories come with the phone, I'm hoping a memory card, usb cable, and ear buds ?? thanks to anyone whom can answer my question !!

Has anyone tried opening the battery cover (after you have already put in the SIM card and battery)? It seems next to impossible to open it.

I was wondering what the cost per use of the MusicID function was.

I use a w600i. I type in #id and it costs me 99 cents every time I use it.

The w810i seems to have a program built into it to identify tracks. Is it the same cost using it this way, or is there a per-month charge? I'm sure it isn't free, otherwise there'd be no use to include it.

I read in a few places that a 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo will work with this phone. Has anyone tried and does it really work? I just ordered this phone and would love to get rid of my Mp3 player and use the phone so that I only have to carry one device with me. Oh please, someone say that it really works!! 🙂

I am thinking about getting this phone. But when I went to my local Cingular dealer the ringer wasnt any better than my Moto V400. It was really low and as far as I could tell the volume was all the way up. I need to be able to hear the phone ring when it is my pocket(due to work). I have 2 guys I work with and one has a i850 from Nextel and the other has Verizon lg300 I think. You can hear both of those above the noise at work. Thanks for any info.

Ok, for those of you who have gotten your w810's from Cingular, how do you like them so far? A friend of mine is wanting to get one, and its hard for me to say its a good phone (the Cingular one) when I've had no experience with it. So what do you guys think so far??

Does the 810i contain any mapping software which will tell the location for directions, etc? GPS or A-GPS?

out in cingular. we have family plan (dad&sis)
and i was wonderin if i would get any discount when i already have a family plan.

has anyone tested the playing time for this phone when use primarily as an mp3 player?

Can I use this phone as a usb device to store files on the memory card?

Also, do i have to use the sony cable? Or could I transfer files via irda or bluetooth? I doubt it has USB..

Just saw the phone on their website for $100 after MIR with new 2 year. 128mb card, but no USB cable or stereo headset.

Ok im thinking about buying a w810i or a v3i they both seem like good phone i just dont know which phone to buy. i have a L7 right know i love the phone just want a flip phone i also thought about buying a lg cu500. if any imformatio or comparison of these phones let me know thanks

I am looking at getting this phone. For you experts out there...can you listen to music on the device and still access the menu's? Could you even text message while the player is running?

I set 8 contacts to the speed dial positions 2-9 but when I hold the button from the home screen, it brings up contacts from the Address Book. For example, if I hold the [5] key, it shows the 1st contact that begins with the letter 'j'

It should dial whoever I placed in the particular speed dial position right?

Also, why is the speed dial position 1 available? That's supposed to be reserved for voicemail only.
