Well, if you havent noticed on Get It Now, we can now get VZW Tones which means all audio tones which sound a little bit better thans Sony Music Box. Sure it's a little bit more expensive but they are less distorted and still sound pretty good. I just thought that i would update everyone who wants to know about it 🙂 😁

I am not able to enter captial letters when I'm saving a name and phone number. For example,

123-123-1234
John doe

Is there a special function to press? I press the left key and ABC (not abc) and the last name still comes out as "doe".

I'm having some problems with my phone.... hopefully someone on here can help me out!

I've had my phone since July '04. Around December or January it started freaking out oh me - the screen sometimes just goes blank white. The Caller ID screen goes blank too, but it's grey. The phone still functions, as I can make and recieve calls but I can't tell what I'm doing. Also, sometimes the screen turns purple if I go to the menu - this is really weird, I can see the main screen, with my background, and the menu overlapping, and it's bright purple. The phone rarely corrects itself and I often have to turn the phone off and then on again to get the phone to return to normal. ...

Ok, I know that this is going to sound really weird and strange to everyone here but I have always had the idea that if I flip the phone open to fast or something that it'll break somehow if i close the flip too hard or fast that it'll also break. Has anyone else ever thought about this before and if so what are your thoughts on it? I guess you can call me just a little paranoid but still I've always wondered about this just never asked the question.

Can anyone recommend a good headset for this phone. For some reason the "Product Finder" feature on the Jabra and Plantronic web sites do not list any compatible headsets -- I suspect this is not true.

I just got this phone and was wonderin if there is any way to light up the external display without opening it. On other phones i know you can just press the button on the side and it will light up.....any suggestions?

I am thinking about getting this phone and had some questions. Im kind of hunting for specific answers. I am wondering with a full charge, how long can you talk for before the phone goes dead? If you talk on the phone 1-2 hours per day, how long will it last?

Does anyone know exactly how much more battery life the extended battery gives you? Does it make the phone a lot bigger or heavier? Does it get any hotter? Im not looking for Samsung's specifications for the extended battery, but someones actual experience.

i have had this phone for a while, but never bothered asking this question. how come when i get a text from somepeople it will not show their name on the screen at the 'from' part, but it will show the names for other people?

Alright ....

I have been able to use the 'T' pause button to bypass entering in my pin number code everytime I check my voice mail.

I have changed my prompt level to the fastest level possible.

And I have changed the number of rings my phone has to 5 rings when someone calls and send it to voicemail, instead of the default 7 rings.

BUT ... I still haven't been able to figure out how to shorten the automative lady of giving you all those instructions before someone can leave a message. "At the tone please leave your message .... when you are finished please hang up .... to leave a call back number press 5 ... arrrgggg won't it stop. 👿

Is there anyway of shorten this?

Ok here's the deal, I was outside and i had my phone off of my holster but not in the direct sunlight for a few hours and later today, it was working fine and everything and then i logged onto Get It Now and i was about to download a free application and as i was about to download it, my phone said application process failed please try again later so i though ok let me just try that again and when i tried it again, my phone completely shut off. Now, this does happens sometimes but this time when i went to turn it back on, my phone is in a cyle. Basically ill turn it on, the red LED light will come on, then turn off, then the screen along w/ the keypad will light up and for a few seconds, and the welcome noise will go on. hey i just purchased this phone today, and i was just wondering if the image on the external display window could be changed. i have seen pictures of this model on the internet, and they had different images than the one i do. ive searched through the phone and briefly read through the manual, and found no answer to this question. id greatly appreciate if someone could let me know anything about this issue. thanks a bunch 😁

Ok so recently I've been using my phone while charging and last night into today i realized that after giving my phone a full charge it dies down very quickly in about a couple of hours. Now I'm asking myself what's up with this? It is now charging for like the 3rd time today when i should be getting like 4 days out of one charge? Do you think i killed the cells by playing with my phone while charging? I certainly dont' think that i didn't overcharge it because I'm good with that since i work at Verizon.

Can you send this phone mp3 made into midi files like you can LG phone on Verizon? If so is there anything extra you need to do? I can get them to work on the LG"S but not on the a 670.

Is there a way to change the phone's behavior when you receiving sms while dialing/texting? The sms grabs the focus of the phone, preventing you from making a call or texting - which I find highly annoying. I would prefer to be alerted that a message is waiting, but not let its reciept interupt my thoughts or workflow.

I'm trying to decide between these 2 phones -- would very much appreciate any information about call clarity and coverage on Long Island. Thanks.

Anyone else have this problem? The front display lights up though there is no call/message coming in. It stays lit for a few seconds. I've seen it happen a few times and it seems to happen randomly and not on a cycle (e.g., once every ten minutes).
