Surfing net on Phone...? Charges?

How exactly do the charges work if you surf the internet on your phone..? I currently changed my plan a week ago and received vision free for the first two months, but I was curious on if that mean't I had unlimited web surfing, or that just was for downloads on sprint's website... If its unlimited web surfing can I go to google and stuff like that and search some mobile sites without getting charged alot?

I also heard that it may take away from your day time minutes?

Sorry if this has been answered before, I have been wondering this question for along while as I have had sprint for a good year or so.. But always wondered how vision actually works with surfing the internet, I couldn't really find much help at the sprint help website e...

Roaming Help - Did Sprint Change Things?

Hello.

I was going to get Sprint Service + Free and Clear America (includes all roaming for $5) but now it seems that it is not available through Sprintpcs.com.

The one that seems to have taken it's place is SUBSTANTIALLY different. 100 Roaming mins for $10. I believe it's called Fair and Flexible America.

Does this mean that Sprint Free and Clear America (the $5 version) is no longer available?

If so, bye bye Sprint, hello some other company.

software for samsung mm-a 700

Two question for Sprint CC. First my friend had a Sanyo 8200 and the key pad went out, he went to the Sprint store and they did not have any 8200, so he was told take what we have or nothing, or your warranty will be void. Uh, ok. Is this right? I mean come on. Shouldn't they order it and give him a loaner. This is a business phone so he had to take what they had.

Ok on to the other question anyone know what software, if any, there is for the Samsung MMA-700 to upload/downlaod data to a computer. He has the software for the 8200, which he just bought and know it's no good.

Any help would be much welcome.

Planning on switching...Advice?

Here's the thing:

I'm currently with T-Mobile for my second 1-year contract. I have considered moving to Sprint, tho. I thought about Cingular, but they want a $600 deposit, so no to that one. I heard Sprint only makes you pay, at most, $125. So, that sounded better.

I love T-Mobile, but they are behind the times. They have no plans on upgrading their spectrum, I think it is, till 2007? Come on now. That's BEHIND. They aren't keeping up with the rest of the companies out there. Especially in the phone department. I have been trying to hold out for some new phones, but I see nothing coming soon.

Another reason I wanted to try Sprint is because of the merger happening soon. I wanted to know if I could possibly get even better coverag...

Nextel CEO: iDEN could be part of future public-safety network

Jun 2, 2005 3:43 PM
By Donny Jackson

Nextel President and CEO Tim Donahue yesterday said he believes the company’s iDEN network could be part of the “public-safety network of the future” after it offloads its consumer traffic to Sprint’s CDMA network a few years after the merger of Nextel and Sprint.

Previously, Nextel officials indicated that capital expenditures for the iDEN network would cease in 2007. But Donahue--speaking at the Lehman Brothers Worldwide Wireless and Wireline Conference in New York—indicated that the iDEN network would be part of the merged company’s consumer plans longer than that.

What would you do?

I have 2 lines with Sprint right now. I paid $125 like 1 1/2 year ago for my second line. I now need a 3rd line my little sister is going away to a school, that is a bit away from home and we are trying to get a phone. I was going to add a 3rd line but Sprint told me no. They won't even offer me to pay $125 for the 3rd line.

I could go to another company but that would be just way to expensive than just adding $20 to share minutes. Plus I really don't like the other company's, Nextel is about the 2nd in line company to me.

What would you guyz do, cause I need another line or is there anything I can get Sprint to do for me??

Thanks....

need info..

Anyone have any ideas about the A820 release date?

I've been looking for a solid Sprint phone with an internal antenna. Wasn't too thrilled with the LG VI-125. Felt like it was going to break in my hand.

What is the typical timeline to market once the phone appears on the FCC website

Sprint Coverage in Atlanta???

Just wondering...How is the RF reception of Sprint PCS in Atlanta especially indoors?
I know that Verizon and Cingular are either really good or decent indoors.
Not trying to start a flame war, I just have no experience with Sprint other than what friends say and most of them have to use it for business purposes, yet none of them are thrilled about using it, especially in buildings like in downtown Atlanta or in old remote areas like Stockbridge or Hiram...
Again, not trying to get flamed, just asking a basic question...since I am looking for a new cell service and Sprint, Verizon and Cngular are the only candidates...

Sprint PCS sales rep needs help!

I'm a sales rep at a Sprint PCS dealer. Working
through the third-party activation line has become an absolute nightmare. Simple activations, and even ESN swaps often take a very, very long time to complete. Recently,
it took my co-worker over 2 hours just to add
a line to a customer's account. Thankfully, the customer was patient and waited, but this
is just ridiculous. We're going to end up losing sales!
Does anyone have any phone numbers for Sprint activations, other than 1-866-542-1248?
