SPRINT Customer Service Reps Need Help !!!>>>

Bought a phone off Ebay. Treo 650. It was a local pickup. I called into Sprint to change the ESN number on my account. They then tell me that the ESN number for the Treo 650 is "Not Recognized". I gave them the 15 digit ESN number and infact the read me back the 8 digit/alpha ESN number and still said it was not recognized.... what's going on here?

I asked the straight up... was it reported stole or fradulent? They replied not at all..

Ideas?

ESN NUMBER IS 05401370498

Thanks

Sprint reception on the Sanyo 5600

I reside one mile from actual Sprint coverage, though there are three Sprint towers just north of me about 4 miles from all of them. I have a friend that has a Sanyo 4500 and gets good reception at 3 miles from Sprint coverage, which is great.

If I were to get the Sanyo 5600...would it perform to the standards of the Sanyo 4500? Anything better than what the 4500 gets would be wonderful.

Here is the deal

I heard about this site, thought I may try and set you all straight.

The arguments presented are: Cingular is the best; Verizon is the best; T-Mobile is the best; US Cellular is best, etc.

The problem is: Most base these claims on facts that are mad up, or grossly manipulated. You see, I have worked closely with a wireless carrier for quite some time. I will not disclose that carrier.

SO lets dive into this issue hip deep.

Network quality/coverage:

Cingular- Has the largest all digital network.

Verizon- has the most dependable (according to unbiased un affiliated sources)

T-Mobile- Has a satisfactory sized foot-print, most urban/sub-urban users have dependable coverage.

US CC- Has an Orwellian Nationinal network (Orwe...

Coverage

I currently have verizon and am thinking to switching to sprint. I was wondering if anyone knew how the coverage was in the NJ. Mainly the Shore area, Brick, Point, Seaside. Also I will be using the phone a lot in PA, Stroudsburg, Allentown... I was wondering if there was a lot of roaming and if the plans were worth the switch. Thanks for the help.

Sprint, Nextel Commun Set For 'Solid' Q1 Net Adds

Bear Stearns expects "solid" first-quarter net additions for Nextel Communications (nasdaq: NXTL - news - people ) and Sprint (nyse: FON - news - people ) and raised the price target on Nextel Partners (nasdaq: NXTL - news - people ). Bear Stearns said, "While slower than the second-half 2004 rate, we estimate that Nextel Communications will still add over 475,000 core customers in the first quarter and Sprint, over 420,000." The research firm lowered the core average revenue per unit (ARPU) estimate for Nextel communications to $67 from $68 to account for the company's "typical seasonal reduction in ARPU."

samsung a660

😎

Question regarding the samsung a660...

I've had several customers return their phones due the time not updating when the phone is flipped open (i.e. the last time i opened the phone was 10:30, when i open it again at 1:30, the display reads 10:30)

is this an individual phone problem, or a problem with the series, or a setting on the phone?

Looking For New Work

I'm looking to expand my career as a sales associate working at a Cingular direct store. Are there any employees here in the Houston area? If so, I'm asking if there are any positions open in that area. I have experience in the wireless industry. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Questions about corporate discounts

Hey all, I'm currently a normal customer with Sprint and have been since about '98. Right now my account is under my Dad's name, since I didn't have credit back then. Well I recently got a job that offers corp discounts and was thinking of switching to Verizon because my current phone (Samsung a460) doesn't get service in some of the building's I work in (this is in north Kansas City mind you) 👿 and i want to try out ring tones and such. Pretty much all my friends and family use sprint, because Verizon isn't offered back home. The plan i'm on now doesn't include any type of free calling to other sprint users, so calls to 3/4 of the people i talk to during peak hours come out of my mins.

Current sprint users can get the discounts, ...

Sprint Treo 650s on Ebay for 423.33 NO CONTRACT is it a good deal?

Thinking of switching to Sprint from Cingular. Is Sprint like Cingular in the fact that if I have my own phone I can sign a monthly contract.

Also does this seem to be a good deal on the Treo 650?

Thanks

Need help choosing a Sanyo phone

I live like between 1 and 2 miles from actual Sprint coverage and I am trying to decide between two of Sanyo's video phones, either the MM-5600 or the MM-7400.

Which one of these models is a better reception perfomer? They are probably both very good, according to the current reviews but wanted to ask which one is more recommended.
