Virgin Mobile handset

Quick question for everyone out there...

What do I need to do to a VirginMobile KYOCERA Slider to use it as a "regular" SPCS phone?

*I know when it first came out (before VZW had it) we found a programming code to use it on VZW's system...

I want to upgrade out of an A620

My 18 months is almost up and while the VGA1000 has been a great phone I want something else. I don't need ready link and would like a photo/video phone. The Toshiba is nice but seems cheap. What would be a good phone to go with. Also what is the process? Do I have to get a mail in rebate of 150 for 2 yrs? Or can I go to a direct store and get an instant?

Thanks

Basic Internet Access with a PCS Connection Kit?

I am curious if you can use your Sprint phone to "dial-in" to an ISP and use your cell phone as a means to get internet access. In other words, is it possible to use your cell phone to get on the internet with your laptop with a USB connection? Additionally, if you sign up for a PCS Vision Pack, do you then have to susbscribe to a separate ISP to get in? Thanks for information anyone can provide...

I have an MM-7400, is a PCS Connection Kit available, if so how much and how do I get one?

Hey all...

I don't normally post in this forum, but I have a question. My friend has a sprint phone which she has had to replace three times for various reasons, the latest reason being that it shuts off on its own. My question is: does sprint have a policy similar to verizon where after three returns of the same phone they will offer you a replacement phone of equal or lesser value? Any input would be very much appreciated.

SAMSUNG A680 gone!

Sprint no longer showes the a680 as an offer, but many independent stores do. Is it obsolete?
The Sprint rep wants me to look at the a620 instead. I think that phone is even older!
Have heard good stuff about the A680. Worth searching out?

$708 bill this month, $362 last month!!!

👿

Okay.

Before anyone flips out and tells me that I went over my minutes, that's no even close to being accurate. Granted, we did go over a little bit, but we are talking a very nominal amount.

Just a little background.

I had three lines on one account. One was my primary phone, the second was my fiances phone and the third was just a casual use phone for all the people we usually have come stay with us. I called January 3rd to have one of my lines cancelled. Instead of cancelling my line, this individual changed my plan from the fair and flexible plan, to the 2000 minute plan WITHOUT vision and enacted another two year contract on that very same line. This line in fact was the only one WITHOUT a contract on it, meaning, I ...

C'mon Sprint.....

As if your networks arent overloaded and scarce as it is, you're talking to Nextel? Another company with overloaded networks? Wow, didnt see that coming; actually gave you guys credit of merging/being acquired by Verizon. Very interesting times coming up. At least you're not all alone like TMobile!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣

Port my number out, but open a new Sprint PCS account?

Lest you think I'm crazy.

I live in Birmingham, AL now. I have a Sprint phone on my old Boston number.

I have a T-Mobile Sidekick I use mostly for data with a 205 number.

I have a Sprint Treo 600 I use mostly for voice with a 617 number.

Here's what I'm thinking about doing.

Porting the 617 number to my existing T-Mobile Sidekick. Closing the Sprint account. Opening a brand new Sprint account with my existing Treo with an Alabama 205 number.

Not trying to get any discounts or rebates, just make the numbers work best for me.

That way, I get to keep the old number, even though I use it rarely. And I get to use a fresh new 205 number for Sprint for voice, which is where I really need it.

My Sprint invoice has an AL addre...
