bought a new laptop - looked everywhere, can't find install cd with active sync on it. ideas?

I asked sprint store - and they said they couldn't give me a copy of the cd from the box..

please help.

Ok, I updated my phone with update that was available to fix some of the problems that Sprint was having on there phones.

It cleared out my phone completely which I expected, but my folders changed. Like I don't have the folder for windows/rings anymore. So that I can put my made ring tones in the phone.

any help/input.....

Has anybody tried wireless bluetooth headphones w/ the Verizon XV6700? What brand? Can you till make calls? How's the quality?

Is anyone else having problems connecting with a MS Wifi router?

I have an MN-700 with up to date firmware.

The only way I can get my 6700 to connect is to reset the router. Then when I leave the network area and return, I can not reconnect and have to reset the router (unplug or use router software to reset).

If anyone has any ideas, it would be appreciated.

I was walking through a parking lot and because of how easy the battery door slides off, it fell to the ground and by the time I got inside and noticed, I ran back out to get it and the battery door had already met its fate. My question:

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN PURCHASE JUST A REGULAR BATTERY DOOR (not an extended battery door that makes the xv6700 twice as thick)?

all of a sudden my screen goes blank just a light grey screen no content.can anyone help I have to go into standby a couple of times before it comes back to normal

I'm having problems putting ring tones for text messages and emails I've tried putting the songs on my phone as a wma file and after adding it as a ring tone i still cannot find the songs under the pull down menu in sounds and notifications can anyone help me?

is anyone else have a problem with the ppc 6700 erasing emails when you sign on? I actually watched emails just erase as if I did it. and they are not in my delete folder

Can someone please confirm if the 6700 will indeed use a wi-fi connection instead of the providers wireless if wi-fi is available (and configured of course)?

I saw this mentioned on one site, http://andrew.triumf.ca/starcom/, and I've been looking for confirmation.

My company provides an email push of my work email. Ever since I enabled this option, I get a constant notification alert saying "Starting Pocket Outlook". I found a kill option, but now the displayed alert is "Pocket Outlook Killed"

I can't get notifications of missed calls or new text messages, since my phone ALWAYS says notifications now - I've become immune to the alert.

Does anyone know a reg edit or way to disable this alert, or should I just scrap the whole push mail thing?

Does anyone who owns this phone have any problems with the volume being to low? I've been considering pruchasing this phone but then I hear the volume sucks and I may HAVE TO use an earpiece. Is this true?

I would like to program active sync to save all media onto my mini sd card, and I can not seam to get that to work. Please let me know if you can help. Also, how do you copy and transfer programs to the storage card once they are on your device?

I've had the phone about a month now. It's a great way to surf on-the-go and all that but as a cell phone it sure is second class and seems like technology and ergonomics took 😎 two giant leaps backwards!
It's too bad you have to jump through hoops and pay extra to get voice recognition when larger buttons would help help greatly.
As it stands now I'm almost back to the days of pulling over off the road just to dial a phone number.
Then again, maybe my thumbs are just to thick! 😁

I can beam a single contact to the address book my car (via bluetooth), what I can't figure out is how to beam multiple or all my Contacts over? Anyone figured out how to do that?

Just got this phone like 3 days ago, paid full price for it to. 😳 😳 i'm so happy that sprint is loyal to their existing customers, NOT.

Anyhow, they did tell me that I have to do a software update to stop the phone from going into flight-mode which is bothering at times. My question is, it doesn't have picture mail, I've learned all the other aspects of the phone, but what are my options for sending pictures???

I just downloaded the PHM Registry Editor and I was wondering how to use it. I try to access it from the file download and it says I need to run t he application and I was wondering how do i do that.

I just got this phone today and am currently charging it. I was wondering how long the phone usually takes to charge and also whether the status light should be blinking red while charging?

The phone is fresh out of the box and is not powering up at all, even when on the charger. I was wondering if that was normal.

my friend is interested in getting a verizon phone with the following requirements:
1) scheduler/organizer - like in a pda
2) mp3 player
3) car navigation. i know most verizon phones now support GETITNOW NAVGATOR. the problem is that i think it only works if i have verizon service since all map data is stored on the verizon servers. i want to buy navigation software that will work with my pda phone, use the phones gps capabilities, and either uploead all mapping of the US or regional mapping via bluetooth/cable.
4) expandable memory splot incase she needs to install more memory for new software

she was looking at the TREO 650/700, 6700, and Q. which one would be best for her needs?
what NAV software do you recommend and how much...
